Leap of Faith - Chapter 7 is now available on Itch.
Due to me having upgraded from Renpy 7.3.5 to Renpy 7.4.11, the patching instructions are a bit different this time.
1. Download and unzip your patch.
2. Go to your existing game (chapter 1-6), select and copy all the files marked in green in the image below.
3. Paste them into your patch version.
4. Play the patch version.

game was great except i have no damn idea how to get the patches to work either!!??
Giving a 1 star review when you have problems patching it is probably not the best approach to asking for help, but I'll try to explain to the best of my abilities.
I'll assume you've played chapters 1-4, and explain from there:
* Download version 0.6 (which contains chapter 5 and 6).
* Unzip and navigate to the Leap of Faith patch directory you just downloaded, and enter the /game/ folder.
* Mark all files and copy them.
* Navigate to your existing chapters 1-4 and enter the /game/ directory.
* Paste the files you copied (overwrite when asked).
* Run your existing chapter 1-4 version, which now should have chapters 1-6.
Repeat for chapter 7 afterward if you have bought that.
If that doesn't help, feel free to write again.
I'll redo the patch system for the 8th and final release which shouldn't be all that far away.

I have a problem getting the full version running with the itch downloads.
- after adding the 6.x update files to 4.5, it does not start anymore. "error: Error -3 while decompressing data: incorrect header check". As soon as "chapter5.rpa and chapter6.rpa" are in \game, this happens.
-with only adding 7.x to 4.x, it runs, but all images from chapter5 are missing. Black screen, red error message top left.
I tried other ways (copying to Ep7 folder etc).. no luck either.
Are there different versions of the game? Because the Image what i should copy for Ep7 does not match to my versions files. eg. I have a audio folder with ep1, ep2 folders in 4.x, in 6.x there are the chapter5.rpa Files only
Help please :(
Paid for chapter 7 and no option for it? WTF
That is a bit troublesome, I am in a bit of a bind due to it not being there, hopefully Drifty fixes it

Ok I have solved the problem, if your version of the game is patched properly with 0.6.1 being properly patched into 0.4.51 you have to copy these files and folders from the "game" folder in 0.4.51
Paste them into the "game" folder of 0.7.0
Only then will the game run properly.
Thank you for figuring it out for us. The instructions he gave were either immediately outdated or imcomplete. This worked for me.

I am really let down by the patching process for this update, not only does the instructions above not help at all, in fact the image is showing files and folders that do not exist with how this game runs works on Itch, but it seems like the workaround is to either wait for steam where the game will be patched right, and have to buy it again, or just download it from F95.
Truly one of the greatest Adult Games out there. Thank you for your hard work and all the best to you!
wierd... if I click download now from in here, it doesn't give me access to chapter 7.
I have to go out to the main page, scroll to the top and click download next to the 'you bought this game already' thing.
@M4rt1nV I think he meant inside the game folder, then under the actual folder named GAME.
@Drifty It would be nice to have a full game link, instead of just a patch. This would help avoid problems.

The problem with that is the link is still locked behind a patrion sub, so if someone payed for it here that link is usless.
If you had actually clicked on it, you'd see that it is not locked.
It is a public post, with the full .6.x files.
That is the link I used to get them when he put out that last version publicly.

I must have provided the wrong link then.
Because when I d/l'ed .6.x, I did it from a patreon post that was public.
... or the post became patron only over time.

Hm, my 'old' install doesn't have any of the [type][number].rpa files, as far as I can see. Nor are they there when I do a fresh install. Any idea why this might be?
I moved the audio, images, and imov folders (and all their contents) from the last version into the game folder of the new patch. So far so good I am currently playing Chapter 7. Hope that helps.
I've just kinda copy/pasted everything from the 0.7 update into the 'main' folder and overwritten the doubles, and so far it all seems to work. So I guess I'll see.
